About Chef Anuradha Medhora

Chef Anuradha began her journey as a home chef in 2015. Starting with pop-ups with the focus of introducing the Royal Cuisine of Malwa, Charoli slowly took on a life of its own, gaining recognition and interest of food lovers in the city. In 2020, this royal affair gained new heights as Chef Anuradha expanded the brand into a delivery kitchen and a flourishing catering business allowing her to pursue introducing new people every day to the world of Charoli. She has since catered to many gatherings and has created a niche for her brand of food.

About the Brand

While the royal cuisines of Rajasthan, Lucknow, Hyderabad, and Rampur are celebrated, the Malwa region remains overlooked. “Charoli” tells the story of Malwa’s royal culinary heritage, rich with past flavors and aromas. Authentic Malwa cuisine is hard to find today, as many families have forgotten or guarded their recipes. Those fortunate enough to experience these meals understand the importance of sharing these magnificent flavors with food lovers.

What to Expect?

Explore muniments of the history of culinary arts in a fascinating or even an outré take on Nimatnama ‘The Book of Delights’. It is a cookbook written by a medieval king, Sultan Ghiyath Shah of the Malwa Sultanate, who compiled rare recipes in the 15th century CE, and this feast is inspired by a few such masterpieces from that time.

Ghiyath Shah (1469-1500 CE) was the ruler of Malwa at the turn of the 16th century CE. An aesthete and a lover of the arts; music, dance and painting. Giving his capital Mandu, the name Shahidabad or the ‘City of Joy’. Let us bring alive a lingering memory of a visual feast that is said to convey “a flavour of all that was– its language, its poetry, art and the food of the Malwa Sultanate”

Please note that the private dining room is on the 1st floor and we do not have elevator access.

Cancellation Policy:

If you can’t make it to the event, please get in touch with our team at least 48 hours prior to the event date. We will issue a credit note of 50% which you can use across our brands (The Table Colaba, Mag St., Mag St. Bread Co, Events at Magazine St. Kitchen). We cannot issue any credit notes or refunds less than 48 hours before the event.
