Join us for a conversation between Tara Khandelwal, host of the podcast Books and Beyond with Bound, about her book Paper Moon. Paper Moon is set in a fictional bookstore, borrowed from her experience of running The Reader’s Shop in Mumbai. Followed by a book signing, snacks from Mag St. Cafe and Thirsty Fox Ciders.

About Tara Khandelwal, founder of Bound

About Rehana

Rehana Munir is an independent writer based in Mumbai. She has written features and columns for publications like Hindustan Times Brunch, India Today, Sunday Mid-day and Arts Illustrated in the area of art & culture, humour and social commentary. Her debut novel, Paper Moon, was launched at Tata Literature Live 2019 and won the best debut prize at the inaugural AutHer awards. Set in a fictional bookstore, it borrowed from her experience of running The Reader’s Shop in Mumbai. She is currently at work on her second book, a coming-of-middle-age novel that follows its protagonist – an iconoclastic Muslim woman – from Aligarh to Bombay in the decades following Independence.

If you can’t make it to the event, please get in touch with our team. Kindly inform us at least 48 hours prior to the event date, we’ll adjust 50% of it against any other event or issue a gift voucher which you can use across our brands (The Table, Mag St. Cafe, future events at Magazine St. Kitchen*, or direct orders at any of our delivery brands. All our events have different formats.
