About Tanya George

Tanya George is a self-employed typographer, type designer, and design educator based in India. She has obtained a Master’s degree in Typeface Design from the University of Reading and has experience working as a graphic designer. Presently, she is engaged in diverse freelance endeavours, creating letterforms for brand identities and fonts spanning various Indian scripts. Additionally, she also organizes Type Walks in Mumbai, leads typography workshops, and contributes writings on typography.

What to expect?

Join us for a fun exploratory walk where typography meets storytelling, You get a guided tour about all kinds of signs and letterforms around us, their history and materiality and contextualise it for a modern day Mumbai.

Attire

Dress your way, but wear comfy walking shoes!

Ticket Price:

INR 1,300 per head, all-inclusive. The ticket price also includes a free beverage at Mag St.
